Dr. Heather Silber Mohamed’s research interests include Latino politics, immigrant socialization and participation, immigration policy, and identity politics in the US, focusing on the influence of race, class, and gender. She teaches Women, Politics, and Public Policy, which will be offered next Spring. Before coming to ����������Ƶ, Dr Silber Mohamed spent six years working on Capitol Hill, in both the Senate and the House of Representatives. She then left politics to pursue her PhD at Brown University. She worked as a Visiting Lecturer at Brown for a year before starting as an Assistant Professor at ����������Ƶ in January 2014.

Andrew L. Stewart is a social psychologist studying intergroup relations in the contexts of gender, race, nationality, sexual orientation, and class.
He teaches a research course, PSYC210: Research in Ideology and Violence, that undergraduates can register for. He plans on teaching seminars in masculinities and violence, the psychology of privilege, the psychology of intergroup relations (including gender relations), and stereotypes and prejudice, which will cover gender stereotypes and sexism.

Before coming to ����������Ƶ, he conducted research on intergroup violence and social change as a graduate student at the University of Connecticut. Part of his research included administration and evaluation of sexual assault prevention programs for college men to reduce sexual violence.
