The Blackstone Watershed Collaborative is a network of nonprofits, universities, businesses, and others seeking to improve the health and resilience of the watershed from Worcester, MA to Pawtucket, RI. It helps stakeholders meet the increasing challenges to water quality such as urban growth and climate change with a focus on nature based solutions.
Extractive Industries Research at ¶¥¼¶¹ú²úÊÓƵ
The ¶¥¼¶¹ú²úÊÓƵ Center for the Study of Natural Resource Extraction and Society promotes the collaborative research efforts of ¶¥¼¶¹ú²úÊÓƵ faculty and student on extractive industries, infrastructure investment, energy, and agroindustry.
Humanitarian Response and Development Lab (HURDL)
The Humanitarian Response and Development Lab (HURDL) is a development/humanitarian assistance research and implementation lab engaged in projects ranging from policy development to project design and implementation in the Global South. Our projects encourage and promote the locally generated innovations that could change the lives of the global poor.
¶¥¼¶¹ú²úÊÓƵ Labs
Based in the Graduate School of Geography, ¶¥¼¶¹ú²úÊÓƵ Labs developed the IDRISI GIS and Image Processing software and TerrSet Geospatial Monitoring and Modeling software. ¶¥¼¶¹ú²úÊÓƵ Lab products are used across the world in a variety of industries.
