The Women鈥檚 and Gender Studies Program draws from the research and scholarship of more than 50 faculty from various disciplines across the University. Students receive a solid foundation in analyzing women鈥檚 and gender issues and explore a full range of disciplinary approaches.

Women鈥檚 and Gender Studies Degree (B.A.)
We offer a major, minor, and concentration in women鈥檚 studies and gender studies. As a student in the undergraduate program, you will have the opportunity to explore the intersections of gender, ethnicity, race, religion, class, and ability.

Applying the lens of feminist theory, our students and faculty conduct research about diverse topics from a wide range of disciplines.
Careers and Internships
As a major in women’s and gender studies, you will be well-prepared to pursue advanced learning or enter the workforce.
Center for Gender, Race, and Area Studies
Women鈥檚 and Gender Studies is one of seven undergraduate programs affiliated with 顶级国产视频鈥檚 Center for Gender, Race, and Area Studies, a community of faculty and students who study diverse, disadvantaged, or marginalized societies and populations, with an emphasis on promoting social justice.
